About Jonathan
I'm Jonathan Bentley, a results-driven business operations leader with more than 20 years of management experience and 14+ years deep in automotive service and sales.
In January 2025 I launched Bentley Business Consulting to help small businesses and auto repair shops solve the exact challenges I've faced while running service departments myself.
Most recently I opened a brand-new Christian Brothers Automotive shop in South Scottsdale from the ground up — hiring the full team, writing the SOPs and employee handbook, onboarding 20+ vendors, and driving $1.8 million in first-year revenue.
Previously as General Manager and Service Manager at Tesla Scottsdale, I doubled service production by expanding tooling and equipment, adding a night shift, and leading cross-functional build-outs. I also opened the Tesla Scottsdale showroom and exceeded sales goals by 200% in 2023. Earlier at DriveTime I managed operations with $80 million+ in annual inventory and helped produce 7,200+ vehicles generating $105 million in sales.
Today I combine that real-world automotive leadership experience with proven consulting frameworks in process improvement, profitability analysis, team development, and performance management.
